I was fortunate enough to be “right there” at the cross-section of the MTV generation and the music industry in 1980 when I attended the first annual National Cable Television Association Convention at the Superdome in New Orléans, La.

John Sykes (former AOL President) was flying around in Time Warner’s HOT PINK MTV LEAR JET !! John Sykes has gone on and today, MTV is unrecognizable !!

As the old Bob Dylan song says…”The times, they are a changing!” YouTube is the new MTV. What are your thoughts on the state of Social Networking and all the 21st Century DIY Publishing Models?
